Description of terms that relate to our work.
Psychic.. pertaining to extraordinary extrasensory & non physical, mental processes or forces such as extrasensory perception. Designating a person who is especially responsive to such processes or forces.
Clairvoyance..to see or know things that are out of the natural range of human perception. Clear-seeing & acute intuitive insight or perceptiveness.
Intuition..the act of knowing without the use of rational processes, perceptive insight.
Medium..person with powers to communicate with the spirit of the dead.
Spirit..that which is believed to be a vital principle or animating force within living being; the non material essence or true nature of an individual. The intangible spiritual core of a person, the soul. Any supernatural being or power.
Soul..the intangible spiritual core of a person. The animating & vital principle in humankind forming an immaterial entity distinguished from but temporally coexisting with the body. The spiritual nature of man considered in relation to God. Regarded as immortal, seperable from the body at death.
Clairaudience..faculty of hearing things outside the normal range of perception.
Clairsentience..feel & sense spirit.
